Phone Numbers #

Phoenix provides separate fields for different patient contact numbers.

Available fields #

Home Phone and Mobile Phone
Work Phone and Work Extension
Other Phone 1 and Other Phone 2
Fax and Emergency Phone

Update a number #

Find and verify the patient.
Enter edit mode.
Use the appropriate field.
Enter a work extension separately when applicable.
Select Save Patient.

Use the intended field

Confirm the patient’s preferred number and follow communication and consent policies. Do not place a number in an unrelated field because the intended field is blank.
